This review has been long pending from my side. I wanted to find the right words to express my heartfelt gratitude to Dr. Hemant Chaudhari. So here it goes.. In the month of June, 2025 my wife was rushed to meet Dr. Hemant for diabetic foot after encountering a shocking misdiagnosis and prolonged wrong treatment plan from a very renowned doctor in aundh. Due to the misdiagnosis, we had to go ahead with toe amputation caused by wet gangrene. In an emergency situation, Dr. Hemant inspite of being out station gave us excellent guidance and literally saved us in many ways I cannot put in words. We consulted local doctors first, but each one gave a different diagnosis, which made my parents very worried. After an MRI, we were told the lump was related to blood vessels. I visited Dr. Hemant for consultantion of my DVT. Sir explained everything very clearly and precisely about DVT - future action, way ahead and precautions to keep in mind once you are diagnosed with it. I will also share my understanding about DVT for general awareness- 1. Why DVT happens- Long sitting or travel. Injury or surgery. Family or genetic reasons. Blood clotting tendency. 2. Early warning signs: Swelling in one leg. Pain or heaviness. Warmth and skin color change. Veins looking more visible. 3. Why early detection matters: Prevents the clot from traveling to the lungs (pulmonary embolism) heart or brain. Makes treatment effective and safer. Helps veins recover faster. Avoids long-term leg problems like swelling, skin changes, or ulcers.

In the month of May 2025, my father suffered from Gangrene where 2 of his toe fingers turned black and the general surgeon to whom we showed here in Dubai recommended an immediate amputation, as the fingers had started smelling foul and had no hope to safe. Post amputation of the 2 toe fingers the situation became further worse where pus started to form on the amputee wounds and day by day it started worsening to the point where our local doctors in Dubai recommended forefoot amputation. That's where we panicked and flew straight over to Pune, based on reviews we consulted with Dr Hemant, as we personally did not know any vascular surgeons here. Dr Hemant immediately recommended getting CT scans and other test to see the problem area, the very next day he performed a surgery wherein without amputation he managed to remove all the pus and saved my father's foot. That day will be very special because after hearing 3 doctors recommending amputation he's the only one who made an attempt to save his foot. Post the 1st surgery my father underwent another Arota Bypass Surgery as well, which was again performed by Dr. Hemant and his team for over 8 hours. This surgery also was a huge success wherein right after the surgery, the blood was flowing flawlessly in my father's legs. Our journey has been very difficult throughout the past few months but Dr Hemant has come in the form of a blessing for our family and saved my fathers legs.
